FAQ

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ is typically not a single fixed number, but rather determined by a combination of factors including part size, material, mold structure, equipment production efficiency, sintering batch size, post-processing methods, and inspection requirements.

Powder metallurgy and MIM are both processes more suitable for mass production; however, if the demand is very small, the cost of the mold may not be cost-effective after amortization. Therefore, the following should be provided when requesting a quote:

  • Trial production demand.
  • Initial order quantity.
  • Estimated annual demand.
  • Project lifecycle.

Porite Taiwan can compare "small-scale trial production plans" and "formal mass production plans".
