ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Porite Taiwan has obtained the legal permits for various air, water, and waste treatments. Each item is managed and controlled by a designated person. All our pollutants are required to be below the legal limits, and we are moving towards a zero environmental pollution objective.

In response to global environmental protection awareness, we hope to use internal and external education and advocacy to improve our employees’ and suppliers’ environmental awareness. To do our best to give back to the environment, we have adopted highways, parks, and beautified public facilities.

Facilities currently in the factory:

1. Air pollution prevention equipment: dust collection equipment, wet-type washing tower
2. Water pollution prevention equipment: waste water → grease removing tank → adjustment tank → neutralization tank → coagulation tank → oxidization tank → sedimentation tank
3. Waste material storage site: waste oil, waste liquids, resource recycling area

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

The company, led by the Occupational Safety and Health Committee, plans and oversees environmental safety operations. The Safety Division ensures compliance with various occupational safety regulations and spares no effort in investing in protective equipment. In coordination with inspection guidelines promoted by regulatory authorities, the company aims to achieve the sustainable goal of zero workplace accidents for its employees.

Porite Taiwan recognizes the importance of hazard anticipation and continuously conducts workplace safety observations and analyses to identify potential risks. The Safety Division collaborates with various departments to improve processes and install additional protective measures to prevent pollution caused by harmful substances and disasters caused by hazardous materials. This approach not only conveys the concept of occupational safety and health to all levels of the organization but also ensures compliance with legal requirements.
